The key is the beginning of the "e" in Jerry. The real Jerry either connects the "J" with the "e" or makes his "e"s with no loop in front of the actual loop in the "e". I have traced this in a secretarial below:

Also, his secretary has a particularly loopy "J" - USUALLY completely unlike any "in person" "J"s the real Jerry makes. I have yet to find a real Jerry with that loop beginning of the "e," and have not found a secretarial without it in some degree.
